What is an IFAK?
IFAK stands for Individual First Aid Kit. Unlike a standard first aid kit, an IFAK is designed for immediate response to life-threatening injuries, particularly uncontrolled bleeding, before professional care arrives. IFAK360 organizes its system into purpose-built modules, each focused on a specific function: hemorrhage control, wound prep, wound closure, medication and hydration, field endurance, and animal care.
Who builds these kits?
I do. Every one of them. I'm Kevin Wilson, a licensed paramedic and firefighter from the Pacific Northwest with 23 years of active service, a Navy veteran, and a certified Stop The Bleed® instructor. These aren't retail-assembled kits. I build them using the experience I've gained in prehospital care and emergency response, with the supplies organized for people who may not have a medical background. Ask me how I know what goes in them.
Are the components name-brand?
Yes. IFAK360 uses recognized branded components where they matter, including the NAR C-A-T® tourniquet, QuikClot® hemostatic gauze, and 3M Steri-Strip™ wound closure strips. Other supplies are selected by specific product and function, and medications and other labeled components remain in their original manufacturer packaging.
How do I know my kit components are authentic?
Each IFAK360 module receives an assembly-level lot number tied to assembly records for the components used in that build. Medical components and branded supplies remain in their original manufacturer packaging. Where applicable, manufacturer lot numbers and expiration dates are retained on individual component packaging. This combination of original manufacturer packaging and IFAK360 assembly records helps maintain traceability from the components used to the finished module.
Are the kits sterile?
No. The IFAK360 module itself is not represented as sterile. Individual components may be sterile when indicated on their original manufacturer packaging. Where applicable, manufacturer lot numbers and expiration dates are retained on individual component packaging. Module 1 and Module 1 K9 use 5 mil chamber vacuum pouches that are non-resealable after opening. Modules 2 through 6 use 4 mil zipper chamber vacuum pouches that can be resealed after opening for continued access to the remaining supplies.
What informs the IFAK360 system design?
The IFAK360 system is informed by Kevin Wilson's experience in prehospital emergency care, including trauma response, wilderness medicine, and extended field situations. The modules are organized around specific functions, beginning with hemorrhage control, followed by wound prep, wound closure, and medication and hydration in The Core 4. Module 5 adds field endurance supplies, while Module 6 focuses on veterinary wound care and irrigation. Each module also includes a paramedic-written Instructions for Use card with guidance organized to be clear and practical for users without a medical background.
Why does the packaging look so plain?
IFAK360 keeps the exterior packaging straightforward and puts the focus on the supplies inside. Depending on the module, those supplies include recognized products such as the NAR C-A-T® tourniquet, QuikClot® hemostatic gauze, and 3M Steri-Strip™ wound closure strips. The packaging is designed around organization and access rather than decorative presentation.

Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. Standard shipping is calculated by package weight and starts at $5.99. Orders $99 and up ship free for retail customers.
How long until my order ships?
Typically 1 to 3 business days. During high-volume periods, up to 5 business days. Each order is assembled and inspected before it ships.
Can I track my order?
Yes. You'll receive a tracking number by email once your order ships.
Modules and Customization
Can I buy individual modules?
Yes. IFAK360 modules are available individually so you can choose the capabilities that fit your needs and budget. Modules 1 through 4 also bundle into The Core 4. Module 5 and Module 6 are standalone add-ons, and Module 1 K9 is sold separately for canine hemorrhage control.
What is Module 5: Field Endurance?
Module 5 is a standalone Field Endurance add-on, not a primary trauma module. It brings together blister care, minor wound care, hydration support, and individually packaged over-the-counter medications for long days on your feet, extended shifts, travel, outdoor activities, events, and other situations where your normal supplies may not be close by.
Is Module 5 included in The Core 4?
No. Module 5 is sold separately and is not included in The Core 4. It's designed to be added based on your specific use case.
What is Module 6: Veterinary Wound Care and Irrigation?
Module 6 is a standalone animal-care module focused on veterinary wound care and irrigation. It includes supplies for irrigation, wound cleaning, dressing, bandaging, tick removal, basic restraint, and protective handling. It is intended for companion animals, working dogs, hunting dogs, horses, livestock, and other animals where basic wound care may be needed before veterinary evaluation. Module 6 is not intended for human use and is not a substitute for professional veterinary evaluation or treatment.
What is Module 1 K9: Canine Hemorrhage Control?
Module 1 K9 is a canine-specific hemorrhage-control module organized for serious bleeding emergencies involving dogs. It brings together hemorrhage-control supplies and field tools selected for canine use in one module. It is not intended for human use.
What's the difference between buying modules vs. The Core 4?
The Core 4 bundles Modules 1 through 4 into one organized system: hemorrhage control, wound prep, wound closure and minor trauma, and medication and hydration. Buying individual modules lets you start with the capabilities that make sense for your needs and budget, then add other modules over time. The contents of each individual module are the same whether purchased separately or as part of The Core 4.
HSA/FSA/HRA
Are IFAK360 products HSA/FSA/HRA eligible?
Selected IFAK360 components may qualify as eligible medical expenses. Eligibility depends on the specific components purchased and the rules of your individual plan. If your benefits card is accepted at checkout, that payment acceptance does not by itself determine whether the purchase is eligible under your plan. You may also request an itemized receipt for your records or reimbursement submission. Check with your plan administrator to confirm eligibility.
Module 1 K9 and Module 6 are designed for animal care and are not represented by IFAK360 as eligible for human HSA/FSA/HRA reimbursement.

Medical and Safety
Do I need medical training to use these kits?
Training is strongly encouraged. Stop The Bleed®, basic first aid/CPR, and wilderness first aid courses can help build practical skills before an emergency occurs. Find a course near you at stopthebleed.org.
Each IFAK360 module also includes a paramedic-written Instructions for Use card with information organized to be clear and practical for civilian users. The IFU is a reference and does not replace training, manufacturer instructions, or professional emergency medical care.
Are these kits used for military or tactical purposes?
Some IFAK360 components and modules may also be useful in military, law-enforcement, tactical, or field settings, depending on the user's requirements. IFAK360 is not represented as a military-certified or TCCC-compliant system. Military, agency, and professional users should follow their organization's equipment requirements, medical protocols, and training.
Returns
Can I return my kit?
IFAK360 products are final sale once they ship. This is a business policy, not a regulatory requirement. Because we cannot verify how medical, medication, and other packaged components have been stored or handled after leaving our control, returned products are not resold. If we shipped the wrong item or there is another problem with your order, contact us and we will work with you to resolve it.
What if my order arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged in transit, contact us as soon as possible and include photos of the damage and packaging. We will work with you to address the issue and, when appropriate, coordinate with the carrier.
